On Thursday, October 16, Taggenbrunn Castle in the heart of Carinthia will host the premiere of the Alpe-Adria Wine Festival & Clubbing —a new festival that brings together the worlds of wine, gastronomy, culture, and social media into an extraordinary experience. Selected winemakers from Austria, Slovenia, and Italy will gather in one place, offering visitors the chance to experience the entire history of the Alpe-Adria region in a single day—from unique tastings to an evening clubbing atmosphere.
Festival: A variety of wines, fine dining, and an extraordinary atmosphere
The festival opens its doors at 2 p.m., and Taggenbrunn comes to life with wine, socializing, and unforgettable moments. Visitors can taste select wines from renowned Austrian, Slovenian, and Italian winemakers, participate in expert discussions, and take part in a blind tasting of award-winning Taggenbrunn wines. The Riedl family cultivates more than 40 hectares of vineyards in Burg and produces wines characterized by tradition, authenticity, and modernity.
In addition to wine, the festival will also delight guests with a wide variety of culinary offerings. Visitors can enjoy specialties from select producers, including Carinthian milk, Fonda, Piranske soline, and OsterRob —the latter of which will showcase high-quality Japanese knives. The team at Jezeršek Catering will also provide culinary highlights with their signature dishes. This unique gastronomic experience will be accompanied by live music at the castle, which is one of the most beautiful in the region. Emely Myles & Band, finalists on The Voice of Germany, will provide the musical atmosphere.
Clubbing: When Wine Meets the Beat of the Night
As the sun sets behind the castle walls, the event turns a new page —an evening filled with music and celebration. At 7 p.m., the clubbing event featuring DJ Rinabro takes place in the magnificent Burg Concert Hall, where he creates an authentic club atmosphere with modern beats and ensures that the night continues in a spirit of relaxation, connection, and new encounters
A new chapter in the region’s wine calendar
Organized by Jezeršek Catering in collaboration with exclusive media partner Kleine Zeitung and partners Transgourmet, Koželj Wines, Jacques Lemans, Antenne Kärnten, and Kärnten Card, the Alpe-Adria Wine Festival & Clubbing is more than just an event. It marks the beginning of a new, cross-border tradition that brings together wine, gastronomy, and culture, and strengthens the Alpe-Adria region as one of Europe’s most exciting event destinations.
With its international character, the festival not only opens the door to new flavors and experiences but also serves as an excellent gateway to the Central European market, creating opportunities for new stories, collaborations, and partnerships throughout the Alpe-Adria region.
