The “Zeiträume” (“Periods of Time”) multimedia exhibition
The “Periods of Time” multimedia exhibition, curated by André Heller, is an opportunity to indulge all your senses. It offers a mind-blowing and unique blend of art, technology and imagination.
The exhibition offers the opportunity to explore themes such as time, light and information, inviting you to interact with dynamic installations, from the World State Machine, which visualises global data in real time, to the mesmerising Morph and the world’s largest kaleidoscope. The exhibition stimulates your thinking and takes you on a journey through humanity’s relationship with nature, technology and the passing of time.
Permanent historical exhibition
The permanent historical exhibition was designed by the Carinthian Regional Museum. The exhibition presents a vivid narrative that places the visitor at the centre, honouring and preservingthe past that shaped our present. The storyline seamlessly connects the region’s rich heritage with contemporary life.
From the ancient Noric settlements near Magdalensberg to the Roman province of Noric in today’s Zollfeld, the exhibition reveals the foundations of the Carinthian story. The beautiful Taggenbrunn Castle, which dates back to the 12th century, provides the right atmosphere for you to travel through time. The exhibition includes exceptional artifacts discovered in our territory and in our surroundings, including coins, ceramics, tools, and weapons, to provide insights into the life and legacy of the earliest inhabitants of our region.
50 Years of Jacques Lemans exhibition
A thrilling new exhibition invites you to dive into the world of Jacques Lemans, the Carinthian brand that has garnered global fame over the decades. The exhibition celebrates 50 years of groundbreaking watch design, exceptional celebrity collaborations and iconic milestones, including partnerships with Formula 1 and the Formula 1 and the UEFA Champions League, while offering a fascinating insight into the development of Jacques Lemans. Learn how, from its first watch to its latest collections, this brand has grown from a small family business to a world-renowned, recognised and respected brand. The exhibition pays tribute to innovation, heritage and, above all, the people who have developed the Jacques Lemans brand and led it to global fame.
