Jezeršek Catering brings a new level of culinary sophistication to the Ennstal Classic

Gröbming / Taggenbrunn, July 2025 – For over 30 years, the Ennstal-Classic has been one of the most prestigious classic car rallies in Europe, delighting visitors with its extraordinary atmosphere, legendary vehicles, and international participants on some of Austria’s most beautiful routes. Starting in 2025, Jezeršek Catering will be the proud official catering partner of the Ennstal-Classic, providing unforgettable culinary experiences of the highest caliber at several key events.
With its innovative culinary style, regional roots, and exceptional event catering, this internationally active, family-run business from Slovenia will be providing the culinary highlight for three key moments of the Ennstal Classic: On July 17, participants can look forward to a delightful lunch break at Taggenbrunn Castle & Winery, where—as in the previous year—they will enjoy Jezeršek’s creative Alpine-Adriatic cuisine in the stylish ambiance of the Weinbergsaal. In addition, starting this year, Jezeršek Catering will also treat guests to extraordinary culinary creations at the atmospheric evening events on July 18 and 19 in Gröbming.
Run by the four brothers Rok, Martin, Luka, and Jure Jezeršek, this family-owned business has been a leading name in fine dining, event catering, and event planning in Europe and around the world for over four decades. With over 2,500 events annually and numerous international awards for the restaurants managed by Jezeršek (including Michelin, Falstaff, 50 Best Discovery, and TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice), Jezeršek sets the standard for quality, creativity, and sustainability. Under the leadership of Luka Jezeršek, the company’s culinary director, the team combines regional ingredients and innovative techniques to create extraordinary culinary experiences that turn every event into a culinary highlight.
“A central element of our philosophy is not only to deliver culinary excellence, but to turn it into an experience—whether at state receptions, private celebrations, or major international events, emphasizes Managing Director Martin Jezeršek. Since May 2024, Jezeršek has been responsible for the entire hospitality division of Burg & Weingut Taggenbrunn—including culinary offerings, the boutique hotel, and event organization—which is once again among the select stops on this year’s Ennstal Classic Tour. Since then, the winery has developed into one of the region’s leading culinary destinations and most exciting event venues, offering a wide range of culinary, cultural, and outdoor experiences.
For the Ennstal Classic, the partnership with Jezeršek marks the start of a new culinary quality initiative that brings its high standards to life on the table as well. Together, they look forward to unforgettable moments—both on the road and on the plate.

About Taggenbrunn Castle & Winery:

As a historical gem in Central Carinthia, Taggenbrunn Castle & Winery is renowned beyond the region’s borders not only for its high-caliber cultural events but also as a winery. The estate, which spans an area of approximately 40 hectares, was acquired in 2011—along with the castle—by the Riedl family, founders of the internationally successful watch and jewelry brand Jacques Lemans. After years of extensive renovation work, it reopened in 2019 with the first events of the Taggenbrunn Festival. At the same time as the acquisition, the foundation was laid for the Taggenbrunn Winery with its award-winning wines. Set in the stunning Alpe-Adria landscape, the historic castle offers not only the newly designed castle restaurant and the cozy wine bar & castle café but also a museum featuring a historical exhibition as well as the modern exhibition “Zeiträume” (Time Periods), curated by André Heller. A covered concert hall, which serves as a venue for the Taggenbrunn Festival, among other events, forms the heart of the complex. Located below the castle is a 4-star boutique hotel that, together with the surrounding event spaces within these historic buildings, provides an unparalleled setting for events and celebrations. Under the management of the Riedl family, the castle’s owners, and Jezeršek Catering, the castle is a place where wine, cuisine, and culture come together in perfect harmony.
